In both you will either have to record:
- how far an object has gone after every equal interval of time
- or how long it takes for an object to reach every equal interval of distance
The most common experiment is to measure a distance on a bench, place a measuring tape on the bench and attach a piece of string with weights through a pulley to a toy car. Then, release the toy car and use either one of the methods above to collect data to plot a distance time graph.
